Dr. Hiten Negandhi graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology.
After, he began a Masters in Neuroscience. He then went on to pursue a career in optometry and graduated on the Dean’s Honour List from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry, in April 2000.
Dr. Negandhi has many areas of interest in optometry including paediatric optometry, laser vision consultation and co-management, orthokeratology, contact lenses, and computer related vision syndromes.
Dr. Negandhi has visited many primary schools and high schools to educate students on the profession of optometry and the importance of routine ocular examinations, and volunteers his time to the Giving the Gift of Sight Program where he visits schools in different areas to perform eye exams, and provide glasses, to underprivileged children.
Dr. Negandhi has been a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Alexander Rodin is a licensed Optometry Doctor in Ontario and he is also holding a General Ophthalmologist certificate in Russian Federation.
Dr. Rodin is a Member of College of Optometrists of Ontario. He received his medical degree from Moscow Medical Academy and completed residency in ophthalmology at the Research Institute for Eye Disease of Russian Academy of Medical Science in 1997. After several years of practice Dr. Rodin went to Canada where he completed a program in Optometry at the University of Waterloo. In addition, Alexander received a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from University of Toronto.
Dr. Rodin provides comprehensive eye examinations in both English and Russian, and welcomes patients of ages 5 and older. He also sees patients in Russia at the “Spectr” Eye Care Centre (Moscow)*.
Dr. Azmat has always had a passion for the health care field. Her need for glasses as a child meant that she was exposed to the world of optometry at a very young age. Dr. Azmat obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Toronto with a double major in Human Physiology and Biology and a minor in Psychology. Following this her love for traveling and exploring new places led her to the United Kingdom where she obtained her degree in Optometry. When she returned to Canada she attended the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry. Her areas of interest in optometry include diagnosing and managing chronic conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and dry eye disease.
Dr. Azmat loves spending quality time with her two young children and traveling whenever work and mom duties permit.
After graduating in the school of Optometry, Dr. Judge remained in the England to practice optometry. He has since moved back home (to be closer with friends and family) and is excited to provide great service and comprehensive eye exams to everybody in the area. Dr. Judge is a dedicated optometrist and is devoted to helping people obtain the best quality of vision and ocular comfort.
